Department of Defence & Strategic Studies

    The Department of Defence and Strategic Studies is one of the oldest departments at Allahabad Degree College. The distinguished Professor Amitabh Dhar initially convened the department, followed by Professor K.K. Singh Parihar. Currently, the department comprises one professor and four assistant professors. The department offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in Defence and Strategic Studies, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the same field. The department is equipped with a well-resourced laboratory for students, featuring the latest editions of topographical, relief, and outline maps. Additionally, the laboratory provides sand models, which are utilised to illustrate various wars.
